Mission
GPS College Consulting’s mission is to make the college search and application process as stress free as possible. Our approach is to provide one-on-one guidance and advice tailored to each student’s individual needs. GPS works with students of all academic abilities and specializes in students with learning differences, ADHD, and other challenges that can impact learning.
We collaborate with students and their families as early as freshman year to understand the student’s strengths and challenges, tap into their interests, goals and potential, and navigate them through the search and admissions process. Finding the college or post-secondary program where your child will thrive educationally, socially and emotionally is GPS’s overarching goal.
Services
GPS takes a customized approach to the college search and application process. We work closely with our students to ensure a smooth, organized, and rewarding college planning and transition process. Following our initial consultation, we review the student’s educational history and learning profile and devise a plan for your child. We offer an array of services, including college list development, essay coaching, application guidance, and comprehensive transition and college planning.

Differences
GPS specializes in working with students with learning challenges such as ADHD, executive function disorders, non-verbal learning disabilities, and autism spectrum disorders. We recognize how confusing and daunting the college planning process can be, especially for a student with learning differences. We work closely with students and their families to develop a successful transition plan to college or post-secondary programs and guide our students every step of the way.
